Rachel Carson airs Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. on PBS.
PBS will pay tribute to the fiercely intelligent and forward thinking citizen-scientist Rachel Louise Carson (May 27, 1907 – April 14, 1964) whose book Silent Spring and other writings are credited with advancing the global environmental movement.
